I woke up to amazing news this morning: two of my books are finalists in the Missouri RWA's Gateway to the Best Competition, and one of them claimed the grand prize for receiving the highest cumulative first-round score out of all the entries in every category!
Flipped Heart, my novel set in the world of competitive pinball, finaled in the contemporary romance category and won the grand prize for its combined score from the three first-round judges. I'm keeping details about that story under wraps for the moment, but definitely stay tuned as Possibly Important Things develop.
My second story, Tempting Heat, is a finalist in the novella category. It's the first book in my new series, Tempt Me, and you can read all about it right here—or better yet, preorder it now.
Congratulations to the other finalists! In the meantime, I'll keep my fingers crossed until the final-round winners are announced next month!
